Next up was Bourbon House Seafood, which was closer to the Canal St end of Bourbon St. As most of the establishments on that end of Bourbon St, it was very swank. After looking thru the menu I decided on the Seafood Platter. The platter included, fried catfish, shrimp, oysters, hush puppies, fries, and slaw. That's right slaw! I don't usually eat cole slaw, but there's was pretty good. Loved the catfish, shrimp, and hush puppies. but I don't know about the oysters. I could feel the oysters squishing in between my teeth with each chew. I decided right then and there that oysters weren't for me. Andy got the bar-b-que shrimp. After Andy got his food, he soon found out that like Yao Ming, he would have to "Eat the Head", or at least pull it off. Those bar-b-que shrimp do taste better than they look.
"Mmm, catfish, hush puppies, and blurred out scrimps!
"Eat the head!"
