Okay, so in New Orleans 101 we learned never to take a Silva man's picture without tipping. Next we learn about the food. So before I went to the N.O., a co worked told me, "Dude, Bourbon St is bar, bar, bar, strip-club, strip club, strip-club". So as soon as I checked into my hotel, I ventured down to Bourbon St to see if my co-workers description was indeed true. Let me tell you, there were no-strip clubs or bars, only what seemed to be classy restaurants. Well on the first block anyway. The rest of the famed Bourbon St was as described.... Bar, bar, strip-club, strip-club, a few nice hotels, but who cares about those? Okay, there were more restaurants also. We were hungry, so we walked until we found one that look interesting. It was an outside restaurant called Pat O'Briens. I had the Crawfish Etoufee. The dish was loaded with crawfish, rice, and some type of mild sauce. Good Stuff! I hear if you drink it with an HURRICANE then it makes you sweat a bit...I don't know anyone that can clarify that though:)
