New Orleans 102.3 "The Powdered Donut"

Along with Mothers, the other place that made me decide I wanted to come back to New Orleans was Cafe De Monde. Cafe De Monde is the home of the French donut, Beignets. Beignets are sorta of like mini funnel cakes with mounds of powdered sugar. In fact, there was enough powdered sugar on the ground alone to supply a week long state fair. Like the Ralph, Beignets are good enough to make you want to smack your mamma. When eating Beignets you have to be careful not to inhale while taking a bite. If you are inhaling at the moment you put the Beignet to your mouth, the powdered sugar will cause you to nearly choke to death. Even with the minor choking hazard, Cafe De Monde is a MUST visit if you are ever in New Orleans!

Mmmmmmm, sugar!

Pop-up flash, is not your friend!
