I'm about to get dunk on!

Every once in a while when playing basketball, well more and more lately, you run into someone you just can't guard. It happens to us all at some point. I remember one occasion when it happen to me. It was one of those summer leagues. The opposing team had a player that we just couldn't guard. He made his own personal and-1 mix tape against us. To make matters worse, their team and a large group of fans cheering on each devastating crossover. I was IRRATE! To make matters worse, IT HAPPENED!

Cross left, back right, then between of the defenders legs(Yes Meaty, I'm talking about you!)...The crowd on the sidelines went crazy. He's heading towards the basket...Its just me between him and the rim....He's not going to score on me!....We both explode from the floor for our meeting at the rim. As we both glide through the air, I noticed that he's cocking the ball back behind his head. This is when it occurs to me, "I'm about to get dunked on". Time seemed to stand still. I started a prayer in my head, "Oh Lord Please, don't let'em dunk on me, PLEASE!"

God Answered my prayers that day. He only fingered rolled. The crowd still went stooopid! I was embarrased, upset, but thankful he didn't drop the hammer I on me. I thought....I thought I was about to get dunked on. The good news is that a few years later I had the pleasure of Djing Erik's wedding. Congrats to you Erik and your beautiful bride Carmon!
