Myself, wifey, brother, and sister n laws took a pre fourth of July trip to Chicago for the annual Taste of Chicago. We drove to Miller, IN and took the South Shore train to Chicago. Instead of paying vendors with cash, attendees of the Taste buy tickets. 12 tickets will cost you $8.00. That comes to 66 cents per ticket. Remember this, because this is how you rip yourself off. A taste portion is typically 4 tickets. A taste portion consist of piece of what ever the vendor is selling. For examples one chicken wing or one piece of fish. When they taste, they mean TASTE! Let's do the math people.... 4 x .66 = 2.64 for 1 taste portion. In my best Chris Rock voice, "two-dollas and sixty fo cents for a chiiickeen wing? A chiiiicken wing?..... two-dollas and sixty fo ceeeents......" You get the idea. If you ever go tasting, get the full portion. You'll have to share it with wifey anyway!...
